There is official website of B. J. Medical college which shows complete details of the college including it's history, admission process, fee structure, hostel accommodation, departments etc. Thanks lot to our superintendent and administration to build a website that has all details. The link of it can be seen here. There is brief history of BJ medical college which is very interesting which the students only come to know from the site and a marble tile on college entrance gate which is usually in noticeable. Even Wikipedia tells little about the history of BJ medical college. So when you go through it you come to know how old this college is. It is one of the oldest medical college of India even in Asia. Then below the history, there comes description of logo bedge, which I only came to know what it meant after I read it on site. Below it is the dean's message which is updated regularly. Then there are details of the departments, contact no s of faculties, RTI and all info needed on various pages. There is section named BJkines. I wanted to know what does that mean. Curiously i checked and it show an open access journal which is official publication of BJ medical college. Also there is monthly update of "Prashman" which is creation of students showing creative ideas & capability of what a medico can do despite reading books. So, The site looks what it should look like but the design especially the header logo could be better. Anyway thumbs up for the website and hope there are in future regular updates and also a student corner where students can give feedback. There can be a good picture gallery showing photos of old college and extra curricular activities and events. So visit the site and it's another admission committee website: medadbjmc.org.
